Phase 1 – Completed

  • Waterproofing upgrades around the curling rink
  • Improved drainage between the curling and skating rinks


Phase 2 – Completed

  • Removal of two aging ice plants
  • Installation of a single, modern ice plant to operate both the curling and skating rinks


Phase 3 – Upcoming (Spring/Summer)

  • Renovation of the curling rink waiting area and dressing rooms
  • Addition of wheelchair-accessible features and a new accessible bathroom on the main floor
  • Refresh of basement dressing rooms and bathrooms at the curling rink


Phase 4 – Upcoming (Pending Funding)

  • Renovation of the upstairs bar area at the curling rink
  • Potential upgrades to the bathrooms at the skating rink

The Swan Lake Community Centre roof was damaged due to heavy snowfall in April 2023. A new building is set to open soon!

The Swan Lake Rink continues to be upgraded through an ongoing improvement project. These enhancements will ensure a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable environment for skaters and visitors year-round.
